Conference Location:
The conference will be held in the University Memorial Center (UMC) on the campus of the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. Boulder is located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains at an elevation of 5,430 feet. Boulder is known for its natural beauty, outdoor recreation, natural product retailers and restaurants, alternative transportation options, diverse businesses, and technological and academic resources.

The registration fees for the 2007 Southwest Renewable Energy Conference are

Online registration or postmarked by July 6:
    $295 For Profit and Utility Organizations
    $245 Government
    $170 Not-For-Profit Organizations

    $345 For Profit and Utility Organizations
    $295 Government
    $220 Not-For-Profit Organizations

Conference registration fees cover two days of conference sessions, breakfasts, luncheons, breaks, materials, and two evening receptions.

Tour Registration Fees:
Registrations for tours will be taken online or postmarked through July 13.

National Renewable Energy Laboratory's National Wind Technology Center Tour
July 31, 2007 from 2:00 p.m. to 5 p.m.
    $30.00 for all attendees

Xcel Energy's Ponnequin Wind Facility Tour
August 3, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm
    $45.00 for all attendees

									

Payment Information:
All registrations must be paid for prior to the conference. Payment may be made online by credit card, or by mailing a check.

Conference Registration Desk:
The conference registration desk will be open during the opening reception at the Millennium Harvest House hotel on Tuesday, July 31st, 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

During the remainder of the conference the registration desk will be open on the main floor of the University Memorial Center.

Thursday, August 2nd, 7:30am to 5:00pm
Pre-registered participants and those wishing to register on-site must check in with the registration desk for conference materials and credentials.

									

On-site Registration:
After July 26, 2007 participants should plan to register on site.

									

Conference Attire:
The attire for the conference is business casual.

									

Weather:
July/August temperatures in Boulder are typically average low 80's for the high in the day with evening lows in the 50's. Boulder typically gets over 300 sunny days a year.

									

Altitude Sickness:
Boulder's high elevation and low humidity make it easy to get dehydrated. Plan to drink plenty of water, especially if you are coming from sea level. Symptoms of altitude sickness include headache and fatigue.

									

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Notice of cancellation must be in writing and received by July 17, 2007 to obtain a refund minus a $25 processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after July 17, 2007 or for "no-shows." Substitutions are allowed.
